Our Pub Crawl guides care – all of our guides are friendly locals and party-people, involved personally in local culture, be they musicians, artists, performers and so on, and have real in-depth knowledge of, and passion for, their city and its nightlife. We don’t pour watered-down vodka juice shots into your mouth straight from the bottle, we give you actual real quality shots….in shot glasses. How can I join a Generation Pub Crawl?
Generation Pub Crawl operates in five European cities - Dublin, Budapest, Prague, Berlin, and Barcelona. We also operate a number of different free walking tours in each of these cities too.
You can join a Generation Pub Crawl with or without a booking, though booking is recommended to ensure your spot and avoid disappointment. In some cities, we offer a discount if you book online at generationpubcrawl.com. If you prefer not to book, no problem, just rock up to our first bar and meeting point and our lovely pub crawl guides will get you sorted.
How did it all begin?
Generation Pub Crawl was formerly The Original Backpacker Pubcrawl, the pioneering brand established in Dublin, Ireland, in 2001, receiving rave reviews in travel columns and guides and even winning the hostel-world award for Best Tour Worldwide in 2008.
When the original founder decided to move on to green pastures, we acquired the brand in 2012 and kicked things up a few notches, improving the Dublin experience and soon expanded to our favourite party destinations in Europe, first to Budapest and then Berlin, Barcelona and Prague too.
We’ve recently rebranded as The Generation Pub Crawl, to better reflect the changing trends in travel and city visits; while “backpacking” is still strong, the backpacker label is not so readily applied these days to a new generation of curious travellers venturing out to explore and embrace new cities.
